Hannelie is the founder and driving force behind Opperman Lawyers. With over 20 years of experience in property and commercial law, both in South Africa and Australia, she is known for her calm, clear and considered approach.
Hannelie helps individuals, families, and businesses navigate a wide range of legal matters including conveyancing, leasing, business structuring, franchising, contracts, and asset protection.
Clients value her down-to-earth nature and practical mindset. She doesn’t just know the law, she knows how to make it work for you.

Lauren Becker

Lauren is an experienced property lawyer and conveyancer with over a decade of legal experience across Australia and South Africa. She specialises in residential and commercial property transactions, helping clients feel at ease throughout what can often be a stressful process.
Before joining Opperman Lawyers, Lauren held senior positions at top-tier firms in both Melbourne and Johannesburg. Her strong background in commercial litigation and restructuring complements her practical, client-first approach to property law.
Lauren is known for being responsive, thoughtful, and truly invested in her clients’ success.
